Project Manager,Sr The Southwest Environmental Finance Center (Southwest EFC) is searching for up to two senior project managers to join our team. The position will support sub-tasks and integrated activities that span multiple projects and funding sources. The role does not include formal supervisory responsibility but will require coordination and communication across all staff members in the group. Position duties focus on two key areas: technical assistance delivery and programmatic data management. The role will use Smartsheet for project management and will involve progress reporting, data entry, stakeholder collaboration, and deliverable tracking. Position Duties Manage day‑to‑day operations of a large, multi‑project priority area (TA management or programmatic data management) and facilitate questions from subawardees. Provide expertise in one of the following areas to support EFC deliverables: Financial, Technical, Managerial, or other business‑needs areas. Pull reportable data for assigned priority area from multiple sources and write first‑draft progress reports to support program managers with project reporting requirements (quarterly and final). Strong writing skills are required. Build, maintain and improve Smartsheet for current and future projects. Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders—including subrecipient institutions, utility personnel, community organizations, and local, tribal, state, and federal agencies—to ensure deliverables are advanced in alignment with the project plan. Gather facts, research issues, analyze potential solutions, compare alternatives, and recommend a course of action. Evaluate projects for conformance to established goals and objectives. Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year‑for‑year basis. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field that supports the identified focus/expertise area. Experience with project management. Strong proficiency with Smartsheet. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable with public speaking or willingness to become comfortable. Highly organized and able to work independently.
