Family Planning & Contraception NP / PA | $60-$75/hr W-2 | Outpatient | Day Shift Only

Join a nonprofit partnership launching a grant-funded contraceptive and family planning service in Tarrant County as a Nurse Practitioner (WHNP or FNP) or Physician Assistant . Care is completely free to every patient, grant funding covers all medication, and the patient demand is already there. You are the missing piece. You will earn $60-75/hr on a W-2 basis, work daytime hours only with roughly two Saturdays per month, and grow into full-time as volume builds. Full back-office, scheduling, and intake support means your day is patient care, not operations. What You'll Do Provide the full range of contraceptive methods including hormonal and copper IUDs, Nexplanon, Depo-Provera, and oral and shorter-acting options, with counseling across all choices Manage side effects and adverse reactions including hormonal, bleeding, and mood-related complaints tied to injectable and implanted contraception Deliver general prenatal care to Medicaid and uninsured patients Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and counsel on reproductive and general women's health Work independently on site with a presiding physician available remotely for prescribing oversight Help shape clinical workflows and protocols as the program launches and grows Requirements Active Texas APRN or PA license required, or clear eligibility to obtain one WHNP or FNP board certification for NPs, or PA-C certification required Hands-on experience placing or managing at least one long-acting reversible contraception method (IUD or Nexplanon) required Clinical experience managing adverse reactions to Depo-Provera, Nexplanon, and oral contraceptives required Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required, not a fit for new graduates Comfortable practicing independently with remote physician prescribing oversight Fully comfortable prescribing and counseling across the full contraceptive menu without personal, religious, or ethical reservations Trauma-informed, non-judgmental approach and genuine commitment to reproductive health access and patient autonomy Preferred WHNP certification or FNP with extensive women's health experience Community health, family planning, FQHC, or safety-net setting experience Bilingual English and Spanish Experience caring for LGBTQ+ patients Interest in program-building over stepping into an established workflow Compensation and Benefits $60-75/hr (W-2, part-time scaling to full-time) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) or retirement match and PTO Malpractice and liability coverage provided Texas license and DEA registration reimbursed Continuing education assistance #J-18808-Ljbffr NPHire
