System Engineer

Must be Hybrid – Office location is S Decatur Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89118 The Role: Systems Engineer As a Systems Engineer I, you will support the deployment, maintenance, and operation of infrastructure technologies across data center environments. This role is responsible for ensuring systems remain stable, secure, and available while contributing to ongoing projects, operational excellence, and future growth You will work with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot complex issues, maintain system performance, and support the implementation of new technologies. This role includes participation in on-call support, escalation processes, and contributing to infrastructure strategy and standards Experience Guidance 8+ years of experience in information technology Experience supporting enterprise-level environments across Windows and Linux systems Demonstrated ability to manage infrastructure projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and work cross‑functionally Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and hands‑on experience are considers Required Experience supporting Windows Server and/or Linux systems Basic understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware Familiarity with Active Directory and identity management concepts Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting tools Basic understanding of backup and disaster recovery processes Exposure to scripting or automation (PowerShell, Ansible, or similar Understanding of IT service management concepts Preferred Experience with Microsoft Exchange or Exchange Online Experience with Azure AD and Microsoft 365 environments Exposure to SAN/storage systems and networking fundamentals Familiarity with security practices and compliance tools Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Security+, MCSA/MCSE, RHCSA, VCP, or ITIL What You Do Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and Linux serve environment Assist with virtualization platforms, storage systems, and directory services such as VMware, SAN, and Active Directory Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues across compute, storage, and identity systems Support implementation of infrastructure projects and track assigned deliverbles Maintain system documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing Support service levels and response times across systems Work with vendors and external support teams to resolve technical issues Provide Tier 2 support for day‑to‑day infrastructure operations Participate in on‑call rotation and support escalated incidents Assist with research and testing of new technologies #J-18808-Ljbffr ZRG Careers
