Branch Manager – Valley National Bank
Location: Tampa, FL

Valley National Bank is seeking a Branch Manager to lead one of its Tampa-area locations. This role is responsible for driving branch performance, developing a high-performing team, and delivering a strong customer experience within an established book of business.

This is a hands-on leadership position with full ownership of branch operations and results, offering strong visibility and career growth within a respected regional bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and service excellence

• Drive sales performance through coaching, accountability, and team development

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of bankers to achieve individual and branch goals

• Deepen relationships with existing customers and grow wallet share

• Deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience

• Partner with internal teams across lending, wealth management, and business banking

Qualifications

• 3–10+ years of retail banking experience

• Prior experience as a Branch Manager, Financial Center Manager, or similar leadership role

• Strong leadership and coaching background with a track record of team development

• Experience in a high-volume branch environment

• Demonstrated success in driving sales, cross-selling, and overall branch performance

• Solid understanding of branch operations, risk, and compliance
