Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Deliver and oversee quality nursing services, maintaining accountability for care provided by self and those under direct supervision
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess patient data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients
• Perform scrub and/or circulator duties across a range of surgical specialties including GYN, bariatrics, vascular, orthopedics, neurology, and plastics
• Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with facility and professional standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland (license verification must be less than 30 days old)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent General Operating Room experience
• Experience in GYN, bariatrics, vascular, orthopedics, neurology, and plastics specialties
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• COVID-19 vaccination required; declinations are not accepted and must be state recorded
• Must be fully flexible with facility scheduling; candidates with scheduling restrictions will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• OR-specific skills checklist completed and relevant to the Operating Room discipline
