This role involves providing specialized care for complex medical oncology patients in a high-acuity setting. The position requires expertise in chemotherapy administration, monitoring of side effects, and respiratory care, with a focus on rapid assessment and multitasking in critical situations. Job Details Position: Medical Surgical Oncology Floor RN Shift: Rotating, 12-hour DAY/NIGHT shifts. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid drivers license or state ID; ACLS certification; 2 years of experience in medical surgical oncology; expertise in chemotherapy administration and side effect management; experience with respiratory care including trachs, chest tubes, Airvo, CPAP/BiPAP; excellent communication skills; able to interpret cardiac arrhythmias; ability to identify rapidly changing patient conditions and multitask critical situations; experience with end of life care/hospice. Additional Information: Must have step-down experience; proficiency in interpreting cardiac arrhythmias required; high level respiratory care skills necessary; understanding of complex oncology patient needs; flexibility to work rotating shifts.
