Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in CVOR License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: 5+ years of CVOR experience Main OR experience and willingness to float to main OR Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in Cardiovascular Surgery. The unit consists of 12 operating rooms with 2 dedicated to cardiovascular operations. The staffing includes 4 RNs and 4 CSTs on the day shift. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1. The unit uses EMR with Meditech. Typical procedures performed include CABG, valve replacement, thoracic, and vascular surgeries. We are looking for candidates who are flexible team players. Candidates without the listed skills will not be considered for the role. Nurses who also scrub will be prioritized, especially those with Meditech experience. Travelers will be scheduled according to facility policy, which requires working every other weekend and holidays on rotation with hospital employees.
