Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health
Location: Denver, CO
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30
Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health will be responsible for the care and support of patients within an acute stabilization setting. This role requires excellent deescalation skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients with behavioral health needs across multiple units.
- Monitor patient progress and implement treatment plans.
- Engage in deescalation and crisis intervention when necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in the EHR system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license in Colorado.
- BLS certification.
- Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC).
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
