What You’ll Do Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying them to business processes. Operate a forklift following company standards and guidelines, safely picking up, moving, placing and positioning merchandise pallets. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines and expectations; communicate progress and information; and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities. Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; manage inventory flow following company policies and procedures; use equipment appropriately; merchandise; address inventory exceptions; correct shelf capacities; and complete required paperwork, logs and other documentation. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, providing guidance and support with self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting the company’s products and services. Maintain the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures; conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures; handle and dispose of hazardous materials; and report unsafe situations to management. Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures; zone the area; stock and rotate merchandise; remove damaged or out‑of‑date goods; set up, clean and organize product displays; maintain modular integrity; receive, sort, stage and deliver merchandise; promote promotional and seasonal merchandise; process defective merchandise; ensure sanitation and food safety; and monitor shrink, security and safety risks. Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking orders throughout the day and staging products according to company policy and procedures; ensure Merchandising Associates pick orders within acceptable timeframes and are staged properly; and perform occasional audits for accuracy. Handle moves and display goods safely and correctly; track goods; maintain in‑stock levels; control shrinkage; report poor inventory practices; and use inventory tools and equipment safely. Operate and maintain forklifts safely and correctly; report poor or unsafe conditions; and notify management when forklifts are not in proper working order. Proactively identify customers who need help; engage them and assist with technology services and items; model and help others with technology services; identify shrink opportunities; and take steps to fix problems while maintaining equipment and product organization. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older. The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
