Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a compassionate volunteer to provide one‑on‑one social connection for an older adult living in a memory care setting. These individuals benefit most from quiet, individualized visits rather than group activities.

Visit Type

- In‑person
- Friendly visitor / companionship

Impact You’ll Make

The participant experiences social isolation and limited mobility due to chronic pain, which can contribute to feelings of loneliness and overwhelm. Consistent visits focused on conversation and shared interests can make a meaningful difference in their emotional well‑being.

- Listening to music
- Talking about sports (basketball, baseball, football)
- Reminiscing using old family photos
- Calm, thoughtful conversation in a low‑stimulus environment
