Supervisory Pharmacist (Clinical)

Pharmacist Duties

Directs day-to-day operations of the pharmacy program and oversees staffing, scheduling, policy implementation, and compliance.

Ensures compliance with all accreditation standards and maintains documentation, coordinates audits, and ensures patient safety through risk reduction strategies.

Manages performance appraisals, establishes individual development plans, and provides coaching, feedback, and training for a diverse staff of pharmacist and pharmacy technicians.

Serves as medication subject matter expert with physicians, nurses, and other staff on drug-related problems; monitor adverse drug reactions, review and evaluate drug literature.

Participates in medication reconciliation processes, interdisciplinary team rounds, and collaborative treatment planning.
