Elders Inn Is Looking For A Cook!
$22.30 per hour
The primary functions of the cook are:
- Prepare, assemble, and serve meals for our assisted living residents
- Perform routine cleaning tasks
- Stock shelves with incoming supplies
We are looking for a part-time cooks, working on a rotating schedule of 2 days on, 4 days off
Breakfast shift is 6:00am-2:30pm
Dinner shift is 10:30am-7:00pm
Minimum qualifications are:
- 21+ years of age
- Ability to work effectively with all personality types
- Knowledge of kitchen machines and utensils
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements in food preparation and serving
- Ability to cook, bake, and prepare food in large quantities
- Ability to follow menus including those with special diets
- Ability to follow written and oral directions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Push/pull 75 pounds up to 100 feet
Employment requirements include:
- Current COVID-19 vaccination

- Fingerprint clearance from the FBI and Dept of Justice

Elders Inn is a licensed 52-suite assisted living community where each day offers a variety of experiences in the company of friends. Elders Inn offers every resident the opportunity to live as independently as possible, accommodating assistive equipment, including wheelchairs, with short distances to dining, activities, and enchanting courtyards.
We are a pet friendly community, residents may have animals in their private apartments.
