Base Pay Range $16.00/hr – $23.00/hr Position Summary Are you ready to help shape a member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression? We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps and proper forklift spotting. Keep the facility clean by sweeping, mopping, and trash removal, using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment. Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Environmental Sustainability Program. Maintain appropriate levels of chemical and supply inventory, requesting replenishment when low. Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates and create a positive first and last impression. Desired Attributes Thrives in fast‑paced environments. Can work an entire shift on feet and handle physically demanding tasks. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED required; additional education or experience preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience in janitorial, custodial, or maintenance work. Knowledge of health and safety regulations for an occupational setting.
