The Activity Therapist evaluates and administers therapy to patients in accordance with goals provided in the treatment plan. Evaluation and therapy programs are developed through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potentials in all areas of a patient's life.

Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university inArt, Music, orRecreation therapy, humanities, social work or related therapeutic discipline.

Experience: One (1) year of related experience, withknowledgeof psychiatric patient caretechniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.

Licensure: Certification or licensureas CTRS is required within a deadline after your start date

Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR Certification and successful completion ofCPItraining.Certification and training may be obtained during new hire orientation.
