Respiratory Therapist IRP

Overview Provide all types of diagnostic and therapeutic therapy procedures throughout the medical complex for adults and neonates. Administer all types of respiratory therapy treatments, evaluate the appropriateness of physician-ordered therapy, assess patients to determine appropriate therapy, and communicate recommendations to the physician. Responsibilities Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory therapy to adult and neonatal patients across the medical complex. Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate the appropriateness of physician-ordered therapy. Assess patients to determine the most appropriate therapy and communicate recommendations to the physician. Qualifications Minimum Education Required: 2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate of an accredited two- or four-year school of Respiratory Therapy, and must comply with the Ohio Respiratory Care Board licensure guidelines.
