As an Assistant General Manager , you’ll be the heartbeat of store operations — supporting your General Manager, boosting performance, and ensuring every guest leaves happy. Your key responsibilities include: Opening/closing the store & maintaining a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures Helping manage inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members Leading by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services Creating a positive guest experience & resolving concerns with professionalism Ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety compliance Taking full ownership of operations when the GM is away Requirements (What You Bring) Valid driver’s license At least 1 year of retail management experience (Automotive, Fast Food, Retail, etc.) Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages) Ability to confidently use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, climb, etc. Comfortable working in enclosed or semi‑outdoor environments Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available) Preferred Qualifications Dependable, detail‑oriented, and professional Proven leadership & team development skills Dedicated to safety Growth‑oriented with a willingness to train and learn Strong multitasking ability in a busy, fast‑moving environment Benefits & Perks (We Take Care of Our Team!)
