Teknor Apex remains privately owned and family-led, with a culture built on long-term relationships and tailored compounding solutions.Your MissionBlend: Convert measured additives into a consistent dry blend.Compound: Accurately weigh and stage materials; keep raw materials organized per our material control program.Package: Bag and box finished PVC pellets per schedules, silo selection, and labeling specifications.Control: Use console systems and load sheets to transfer bulk raw materials from silos/tanks into mixers.What You'll DoConfirm melt-mixing equipment is safe and production-ready.Follow process instructions to achieve scheduled output and quality.Set up lines to defined parameters; partner with leads/supervisors to resolve issues.Communicate quality or processing concerns promptly and clearly; support relief coverage.Cover breaks and rotate across lines/jobs as needed.Complete a 90-day probationary period.Keep work areas clean and organized.Exhibit strong teamwork and flexibility for overtime coverage.Attend department meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.Physical & Environmental DemandsLift, cut, and dump 60-lb bags repeatedly during a shift.Move a cumulative 20,000–40,000 lbs of material over a shift from boxes/drums.Operate forklifts and hand trucks (license required).Scrape and clean blender interiors; climb ladders and stairs routinely.Handle drums and associated equipment safely.Work with frequent bending, stooping, and leaning.Wear all required PPE; expect a warm-to-hot environment.Skills & QualificationsAbility to read/interpret instructions; practical problem-solving skills.Math proficiency (whole numbers, fractions, decimals; compute rate/ratio/percent; interpret bar graphs).Dependable attendance and strong work ethic to support continuous operations.Lift up to 50 lbs multiple times per shift; comfortable on stairs in a warm/hot area.Train on first shift up to four weeks; then transition to 2nd/3rd; available for overtime including Saturdays/Sundays.Forklift license; consistently use PPE (safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, respirator as needed).Compensation & PerksMedical, dental, vision with very low deductibles; 85% company-paid premiums.Benefits effective within 30 days.Employer-paid wellness programs (smoking cessation, mental health, weight loss).On-site clinic at no cost for employees and spouses, including prescriptions, wellness visits, immunizations.Up to 7% 401(k) employer contribution and complimentary financial planning.Employee Assistance Program.Two weeks of paid vacation plus 13 paid holidays.$1,000 sign-on bonus: $250 at 30 days, $250 at 90 days, $500 at 180 days.Employee referral bonuses.Shift differential: $1.25/hr (2nd) and $1.50/hr (3rd).8-hour production shifts; paid weekly.Overtime schedule posted one year in advance; most holiday weekends unscheduled.Monthly attendance and performance bonuses.Skill-based pay increases.Weekly food trucks on site.Recognition points redeemable for great products (attendance, milestones, achievements).Discounts on gyms, restaurants, theme parks, travel, auto, and more.Regular appreciation events—meals, giveaways, and contests.Free income tax filing assistance (eligible associates).Volunteer and community involvement opportunities.Family Day and service recognition.What We ValueExcellent attendanceCommitment to safetyAbility to follow work instructionsStrong, steady work historyOur Fountain Inn site is smoke-free; tobacco use is not permitted on company property.Shift Availability3rd Shift (10:40pm – 7:00am)LegalTeknor Apex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any protected status under state or federal laws.
