Rover TellerThe primary responsibility of the Rover Teller is to process financial transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional frontline service to our customers. A flexible member of the retail banking team, the Rover Teller will support multiple branch locations throughout the Treasure Valley by filling staffing needs, ensuring operational continuity, and delivering a consistent "People First" banking experience.Essential Functions:Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, wire transfer requests, stop payment requests, and other teller transactions.Support multiple branch locations by providing teller coverage as assigned to ensure uninterrupted customer service and branch operations.Adapt quickly to varying branch workflows, staffing needs, and customer volumes while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships by referring appropriate Bank products and services.Provide customer support around online banking, statements, credit cards, and password resets.Balance and replenish ATMs as assigned and process ATM and night depository transactions.Balance and maintain assigned cash drawer in accordance with established cash handling procedures and the Bank's Cash Control Policy.Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.Assist customers with REG E and ACH Disputes.Process account holds, foreign currency requests, bank drafts, Regulation E claims, ACH disputes, and other operational requests.Conduct customer outreach efforts to resolve non posts and return items.Assist customers with Safe Deposit Box access and related services.Complete required BSA/AML documentation, reports, and communications while remaining vigilant in identifying and reporting suspicious activity.Additional Responsibilities:Assist with New Accounts activities as needed and as appropriately trained.Support business development initiatives, community outreach efforts, and relationship-building activities within assigned markets.Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, work environments, and branch teams.Complete required compliance and educational training.Participate in Community First events and represent the Bank in a professional manner.Provide exceptional customer service while remaining in Bank regulatory and legal guidelines.May require flexibility and willingness to work and travel to various areas of retail operations.Skills and Competencies:Exceptional communication, organizational and computer skills.Must be able to maintain strict customer confidentiality.Work respectfully and cooperatively with all IFB Team members.Self-directed: must be able to fulfill responsibilities of the position with minimal supervision.Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record required.Requirements:A minimum of 1-year previous cash handling and customer service experience is preferred.Ability to accurately handle cash and maintain transaction accuracy in a fast-paced environment.Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.About IFB:Idaho First Bank (IFB) is a full-service state-chartered community bank established in October 2005 and headquartered in McCall, Idaho.
