Job Opportunity: Pediatric Cardiologist

Our organization is seeking a dynamic and clinically focused Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Cardiologist to enhance our Pediatric Cardiology team at our Heart Center. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in general cardiology, particularly in fetal cardiology.

We are a comprehensive health system dedicated to serving the communities of Long Island, NY. Our network includes six hospitals, three long-term care facilities, a Home Care and Hospice agency, and a program for individuals with developmental disabilities. With over 17,000 employees and an operating budget nearing $3.5 billion, we cater to more than three million residents across Suffolk, Nassau, and Eastern Queens Counties, supported by a network of over 3,300 physicians.

Compensation

Salary: Starting at $270,000+

Key Responsibilities

• Provide both outpatient and inpatient care across various hospitals within our health system.
• Collaborate with fellow pediatric cardiologists to deliver exceptional patient care.

Mentorship and Supervision

• Receive direct mentorship from the Chairman of Pediatric Cardiology.
• Benefit from structured support from experienced Pediatric Cardiologists in the department.
• Engage in ongoing feedback, skill enhancement, and career development planning.

Leadership Structure

• Report directly to the Chairman of Pediatric Cardiology.
• Be part of a collaborative, team-oriented department.

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical institution.
• Training: Board-Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Licensure: Unrestricted medical license in New York State and DEA eligibility.
• Experience: Fellowship training with proven clinical competence.
