Foreman can work well with others, is dependable and takes direction. Responsible for leading the crew in the foreman’s absence, safety monitoring, quality control, and other duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Quality Landscape InstallationAccurately install project according to plans and on budget with guidance of ForemanLead crew in preparation/execution of daily tasks, in the foreman’s absenceTrained to understand and follow blueprints, grading plans, construction drawings, proposals, and budgetsTrained to establish grades/levels using a laser or zip level correctlyFollow Lifescape’s construction manual for installation methodsUnderstand and follow job packsLoad truck and trailer as needed to and from job site/shopAttend monthly one on one with ManagerOrder and retrieve materials as neededSpecial duties and projects assigned as neededEquipment Operation & MaintenanceFollow maintenance procedures for all equipment.Check fluid levels before operatingAssist communicating and directing crew on proper use of equipment, and weight and volume limitations CommunicationMaintain open communication between crew and production managementRespond to all correspondence in a timely mannerReport reckless or dangerous activities to Construction Manager(s)SafetyAttend weekly safety trainings and lead the training in the Foreman’s absenceAssist in ensuring crew is working safely and job sites are safe at all times; anticipate potential hazardsNotify Manager of any accidents and submitting incident reports according to Company policy, in the foreman’s absenceTime ManagementMeet project hours budgetAssist Foreman in managing project hours to budgetAssume time keeping for crew when Foreman absenceSnow CrewMaintain 24-hour on call status during snow seasonProperly operate snow removal equipmentPlow, shovel, blower and apply ice melt in designated areas as assignedTraining and Certifications:OSHA-10 or higher (preferred)Bilingual (English/Spanish) (preferred)Qualifications:1+ years of field experienceValid driver’s license with approval from fleet insurance carrierProficient in paver installation, irrigation, low voltage lighting, and planting techniquesThe Perks401(k) plan with company matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceFSA/HSAPerkSpotLong-Term Disability and Life InsurancePaid time OffTuition Reimbursement (after one year of service)Pay TransparencyMariani Enterprises LLC is committed to pay transparency and equity among all employees and provides employees with an environment where pay transparency and dialogue on compensation are allowed.
