Travel Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology Job

Overview Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Travel assignment starting 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with 10-hour shifts. Weekly pay range: $3,058–$3,194. Role supports interventional radiology procedures in a high-acuity setting. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $3,058–$3,194 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour shifts Start date: 09/07/2026 On-call requirements: Nights/weekends and one major holiday per schedule, with a 30-minute callback Responsibilities Provide peri-procedural and post-procedural nursing care for interventional radiology patients, including pre-assessment and post-procedure monitoring Monitor telemetry and interpret telemetry strips; assist with CT/US-guided procedures; maintain sterile technique and assist physicians Manage patient safety, administer medications as ordered, respond to clinical changes, and participate in rapid response as needed Document care in the electronic medical record; coordinate with the IR team and ensure appropriate discharge planning and patient education Maintain an average patient load consistent with a near 1:1 ratio, with capacity to handle multiple cases per day in a busy IR service Participate in on-call coverage as required (nights/weekends/one major holiday) with a 30-minute callback time Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts 2+ years of interventional radiology and critical care experience Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips; must pass telemetry interpretation test on day 1 with 85% or better Experience in Level I Trauma environments is preferred Ability to work 10-hour shifts and participate in on-call coverage as described Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Credentialing and onboarding assistance to facilitate start Ongoing assignment support from a dedicated liaison Regular communication and problem-solving support during the assignment Weekly pay provided with direct deposit About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
