Palletizer Operator

OVERVIEW Responsible for the operation of one or more palletizing machines and ensures efficient flow of product while maintaining safety and quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Monitor and operate palletizing machinery. Perform routine adjustments and changeovers such as pallet configuration, pallet centering, and wrap tension. Perform routine troubleshooting of minor operating issues, safely operate, identify basic mechanical problems, and maintain cleanliness of equipment. Ensure pallets and cardboard are always available to the palletizer. Understand and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMPs, and HACCP. Inspect finished product, resolve quality issues, and report quality issues to management. Keep work area clean and maintain the assigned portion of the master sanitation schedule. Communicate all pertinent information between management, co-workers, and between shifts on changes to equipment, production problems or any other related information. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned. Must be able to perform tasks while wearing all PPE (hard hat, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses). Position requires flexibility to work various shifts, days, swing and graveyard, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and overtime as needed. Weekend shifts may be mandated based on business needs. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 2 years previous equipment operation required.
