Description

Hospice Patient Volunteer

Constellation Health Services Hospice Program is seeking volunteers in Portland. A hospice volunteer is someone who wants to make a difference. Our volunteers help by bringing joy to patients and families, offering companionship and a warm presence, among many other things. The rewards of hospice volunteering are meaningful and powerful, enriching ourselves as we provide presence to others. We offer comprehensive online training that is uplifting, as well as informative, and can be done at your own pace. Four hours each month will make a big difference. Contact us to find out more!

Requirements:

18 years or older
4 hours a month
Request a one-year commitment
Free Comprehensive training (online at your convenience/ Six 1 hour modules)
If you have experienced the loss of a close friend or family member, we recommend waiting a year before becoming a volunteer.
