Job Description
Caregiver Role Overview The Caregiver is responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals in need of personal care. This role involves fostering a safe and supportive environment to enhance the quality of life for clients. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor client health and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Help in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with health-related tasks.
- Support clients in their mobility and transportation needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a caregiver or similar role preferred.
- Possess a valid caregiver certification or be willing to obtain certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and assist clients with mobility.
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
