Systems Analyst III - Custom Applications

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst III – Custom Applications to collaborate with developers, IT teams, external partners, and business users to design, develop, and maintain custom applications within our approved technical stack. Key Responsibilities Design, code, test, and document new custom applications and interfaces to meet business requirements. Write clean, scalable code, integrate with databases, and ensure performance, security, and scalability standards. Monitor, support, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications to resolve issues and meet user requests. Assist with requirements gathering, planning, and design for new applications and enhancements. Develop and maintain technical standards and ensure team compliance. Perform unit, integration, and regression testing; support user acceptance testing and performance tuning. Handle operational tasks such as reports, queries, data loads, and helpdesk requests. Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 10 years of application development and support experience with C#, .NET, and SQL. Expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem. Experience with integration technologies (RFC, BAPI, IDoc, SOAP, REST, web services, OData). Strong knowledge of OOP, REST APIs, and MVC architecture. Excellent debugging and problem‑solving skills; ability to translate complex requirements into logical solutions. Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users and collaborate across teams. Experience with cloud technologies, AI, and microservices architecture is a plus. Java experience is a plus. Utility industry experience is a nice‑to‑have. Essential Functions Effective oral and written communication. Strong problem‑solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Tools & Equipment Computer Smartphone Physical Demands & Work Environment Primarily sedentary work with occasional standing and walking. Requires visual acuity for close work (e.g., computer use). Work performed in typical indoor environmental conditions.
