Forward Health is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and professional Admissions Transporter to

join our growing team. This role is a vital part of the client experience and recovery journey,

helping ensure individuals safely arrive to treatment, appointments, and other approved

destinations while feeling supported and respected throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from treatment-related appointments and approved destinations
• Assist with client admissions, discharges, and transportation coordination
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respectful communication with clients and staff
• Ensure client safety during transport at all times
• Complete transportation logs, mileage reports, and incident documentation accurately
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or safety concerns promptly
• Follow all traffic laws, defensive driving practices, and agency transportation procedures
• Communicate effectively with admissions, clinical, and administrative staff regarding scheduling or client concerns
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and required certifications

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean/acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Preferred

• Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, transportation, or human services
• Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment and recovery
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

Work Environment

• This position includes both office and community-based work with frequent local travel.
• Candidates should be comfortable working with individuals navigating behavioral health and
• substance use challenges while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and safety awareness.
