Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Labor & Delivery RN – Labor & Delivery

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience
• Travel RN experience required
• RN licensure: Georgia or Compact license required at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
• Preferred: AWHONN Intermediate
• Required ratio experience: 1:1 and 1:2
• Key clinical skills:
• Management of labor: vaginal deliveries, C-sections, multiple births
• Postpartum hemorrhage recognition/management; hemorrhage/shock care
• High-risk antepartum care
• Fetal monitoring: external and internal monitoring, IUPC placement and calibration
• Cesarean assistance/recovery and OR circulation experience
• Neonatal basics: APGAR, radiant warmer use, cord sampling, baby catch
• Procedures: sterile vaginal exams, starting/maintaining IVs, blood product administration
• Charting system: Epic (required)

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 24 hours (may vary by contract length)
• COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
• Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Compliance documents due Tuesday prior to start
