Box Truck Driver
Job Summary
Lobos Staffing is seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Driver to safely transport and deliver products to customers and/or company locations. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, strong customer service skills, and the ability to safely load, unload, and handle products.
Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck to transport and deliver products.
- Load and unload boxes, pallets, and other materials as required.
- Verify quantities and inspect products before delivery.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
- Secure all cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transportation.
- Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers and warehouse personnel.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle.
- Perform basic vehicle safety inspections before and after each trip.
- Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws.
- Report any accidents, vehicle issues, delivery problems, or damaged products immediately.
- Assist with warehouse duties and material handling when not making deliveries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver#39;s License.
- Clean and acceptable driving record.
- Previous box truck or delivery driving experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift and move boxes and other materials.
- Ability to follow directions, routes, and delivery schedules.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and climb as needed.
- Ability to safely enter and exit the truck throughout the workday.
Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm
Pay: $24-$27, DOE
