Job Description

• 
  Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger account reconciliations.
  
  



• 
  Assist with month end, quarter end, and year end close processes.
  
  



• 
  Prepare journal entries and analyze financial transactions.
  
  



• 
  Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
  
  



• 
  Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  
  



• 
  Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  
  



• 
  Partner with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes.
  
  



• 
  Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
  
  



• 
  Maintain and analyze financial data within SAP.
  
  



• 
  Support ad hoc reporting and special projects assigned by management.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
  



• 
  5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  
  



• 
  Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
  
  



• 
  Hands on experience with SAP is required.
  
  



• 
  Experience working in a retail, consumer products, or distribution environment is a plus.
  
  



• 
  Strong Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems.
  
  



• 
  Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  
  



• 
  Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment.
