Laundry ManagerManage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the laundry department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards onboard the cruise shipTrain and supervise a team of laundry staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are performing their duties effectivelyMonitor inventory levels and ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available for the smooth running of the laundry departmentMaintain a clean and organized laundry area, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulationsConduct regular quality checks to ensure that all laundry items meet company standardsDevelop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity within the laundry departmentManage and maintain laundry equipment, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate departmentCreate and maintain schedules for laundry staff, ensuring adequate coverage at all timesHandle guest laundry requests and ensure timely delivery of all itemsCollaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and timely delivery of laundry servicesKeep accurate records of all laundry activities, including inventory, expenses, and guest requestsTrain and educate staff on proper laundry techniques and proceduresHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in housekeeping or hospitality management is preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cruise ship or hotel settingExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of laundry equipment and proceduresAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentFlexibility to work long hours and weekends as neededFluent in English, additional languages are a plusMiami, FL, United States
