Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. This is a 10-month contract position that involves a 5x8.0 schedule. The successful candidate will evaluate assigned patients, develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs and physician's directions, and ensure the design of functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals, focusing on progressing patients towards discharge.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly, adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, providing positive learning experiences under supervision.
• Contribute to professional development through continuing education and self-study.
• Follow organizational performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
• Maintain compliance with discipline-specific standards and state practice acts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Maintains professional licensure in good standing.
• Completion of all state-mandated continuing education requirements.

This position follows a 5x8.0 schedule.
