Job Title

Travel RN – ICU (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed ICU setting across two pods, managing a typical patient ratio of 1:2 (may vary to 1:1 or 1:3 based on acuity)
• Care for a diverse ICU patient population including neuro surgical, trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, ETOH/drug withdrawal, and ventilated patients
• Operate and monitor equipment including Pyxis, Plum Pump IVs, GE bedside monitors, Nellcor, Arctic Sun, and Sub Zero systems
• Document and manage patient records using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including 24/7 Intensivists, charge nurses, and critical care technicians
• Demonstrate flexibility and a patient-centered approach while supporting and integrating with the existing ICU team

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience (2 years preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Experience in a trauma or Level II/III trauma center environment
