Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department Job Type: Full-Time | 3x12s | Days Wage scale: $42.14 - $78.11 per hour Commitment Incentive Bonus: $10,000 - $20,000 This is a Union Position. Our Emergency Department is staffed 24/7 with emergency physicians, nurses, and staff trained in providing emergency care. We promote teamwork, schedule flexibility, and a strong focus on professional support and work‑life balance. Responsibilities Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Document patient care provided. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluate patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Participate in performance improvement and continuing education. Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts or units as needed. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current state RN license. Bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school. ACLS, BCLS, PALS; NIHSS completed within 90 days of hire. 1 to 3 years of RN Emergency Department experience. Current basic life support knowledge.
