Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Med Surg (Rotating)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and professional nursing standards
• Deliver compassionate, customer- and family-focused nursing care while maintaining accountability for the quality of nursing services provided
• Define, implement, and continuously improve practice standards and the care environment
• Float to Med Surg on a regular basis as part of the rotating assignment
• Perform IV insertions and provide care to adult patient populations
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN License required
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care / ICU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Med Surg and Telemetry training required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Experience with adult patient populations required
• Ability to insert IVs required
• MN DHS Net Study and Fingerprinting required for this patient-facing position
• Must live more than 35 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume acute care hospital setting
• Demonstrated ability to adapt across multiple care units, including ICU and Med Surg
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in fast-paced environments
