Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are looking for a committed Clinical Psychologist to become part of our organization, focusing on conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits process managed by the VA. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting in-person disability assessments for Veterans.
• Reviewing and analyzing behavioral health records through a secure online portal.
• Documenting examination results accurately and completing necessary VA forms.

It is important to note that disability decisions are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and not by the assessing provider.

Schedule and Caseload

• Work Schedule: Part-Time, 2 days a week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
• Average Caseload: Approximately 4 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all essential documentation tools.

Qualifications

• A compassionate Psychologist with a passion for supporting the Veteran community.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess medical records and evaluation data.
• Proficient in electronic documentation and navigating web-based portals.
• A professional and empathetic approach when engaging with Veterans.
• Must possess a Doctorate in Psychology from an APA-accredited institution.
• Must hold an active and unrestricted Psychology license.
