Home Health Aide (HHA)

Location: Portsmouth, NH
Employment Type: Part-Time

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our growing team in Portsmouth, NH. • Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote patient well-being
• Monitor patient condition and report changes or concerns to nursing staff or supervisors
• Assist with medication reminders and basic household tasks as needed
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare team members and family caregivers
• Follow individualized care plans and instructions carefully
• Adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and infection control procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous Home Health Aide or caregiving experience preferred
• Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification in accordance with New Hampshire regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a healthcare team
