About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Acute care facility experience preferred License: Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: CPR or BLS certification required Must-Have: EPIC experience required Description: Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develop a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implement the plan and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes. Collaborate with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care. Provide learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Directly provide health information to patients and families. Participate in discharge planning in order to ensure continuity of care. Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Adhere to safety and well-being standards required for all associates. Compliance with vaccination requirements is necessary for employment.
