Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This role blends traditional speech therapy with outdoor and equine‑assisted approaches to create highly engaging, functional therapy sessions. You will collaborate with trained equine handlers and a multidisciplinary team to help patients achieve meaningful communication outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy services in a nature‑based outpatient setting Incorporate hippotherapy techniques into treatment sessions (training provided) Collaborate with horse handlers to ensure safe, effective therapy experiences Build strong, supportive relationships with patients and families Contribute to a mission‑focused environment centered on growth, healing, and resilience Qualifications Licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) (or eligible for licensure) New graduates encouraged to apply Interest in or willingness to learn equine‑assisted therapy Comfort working outdoors and in a nontraditional setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach Horse experience is a plus, but not required Schedule & Compensation Flexible scheduling options, PRN with full‑time hours available Competitive compensation based on experience and licensure American Hippotherapy Association (AHA) Training available Why Join Strides of Strength?
