Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Conduct maintenance and service activities to assure Safety, Quality, & Productivity in the following areas:
- Labor
- Support Team Members
- Preventive Maintenance
- Packaging
- Forklift/overhead crane operation
- Bolting torque and tension
- Equipment assembly
- Overhead lifting Qualifications The responsibilities of the Service Technician II requires the following qualifications:
- 1 years maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of problem-solving tools (e.g. Pareto, root cause, Plan/Do/Check/Act, etc.) to identify and effective countermeasures implementation
- Capable of operating shop equipment: pallet jack, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, cranes, forklifts, etc.
- Occasionally necessary to lift 50 lbs safely. Effectively use cranes and jibs.
- Capable of working under pressure while maintaining logical thought process
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed decision making based on sound prioritization of business needs
- Strong, team orientation, motivation, training and influencing skills
- Proven ability to effectively communicate / interact with Operators, supervisors, and equipment technical representatives
- Facilities equipment: Forklift, overhead crane, pneumatic system operation and basic maintenance.
- Basic to moderate computer skills
