Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Progressive Care Unit License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH preferred Must-Have: Telemetry experience 2 years of Progressive Care Unit experience Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity Description: The role involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will manage patient telemetry and monitor vital signs. Responsibilities include administration of medications and treatments. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams. The nurse will care for patients with orthopedic and neuro surgical needs. Skills in managing various medical equipment and protocols are essential. Effective communication with patients and families is critical. The nurse will participate in a range of medical procedures when required. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks is expected. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are vital in this role.
