Job Overview A law firm seeks an attorney for its Boston office to manage and supervise patent prosecution, due diligence, and freedom-to-operate (FTO) work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organic chemistry or small molecules and will be responsible for overseeing technical specialists and junior attorneys. Duties Manage and supervise patent prosecution and due diligence activities. Conduct freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses and provide counseling on related matters. Oversee the training and daily supervision of technical specialists and junior attorneys. Handle large client portfolios on a global scale. Lead and participate in client meetings. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Licensed to practice before the USPTO and in a state where the firm has an office. Education Science background in organic chemistry or small molecules required. Advanced degree strongly preferred. Certifications USPTO registration required. Skills Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent communication and client management abilities. Proficiency in managing large, global client portfolios.
