Event Planner - Fundraising Coordinator

The Event Planner / Fundraiser Volunteer will coordinate fundraising events from concept through completion by assigning tasks to other volunteers within the organization as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and organize fundraising events
• Develop event timelines and task lists
• Identify, contact, and cultivate sponsors, donors, vendors, and community partners.
• Assist with promotional efforts, including flyers, email outreach, social media content, and community announcements

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning and fundraising preferred but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Task oriented and focused; driven to complete projects timely
• Comfortable reaching out to potential donors, sponsors, and community partners.
• Positive, professional attitude and a genuine commitment to the mission
• Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and social media platforms
