Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a broad spectrum of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety by clearly explaining procedures with compassion
• Work alongside radiologists and referring clinicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment while promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and ensure patient records are updated in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is an advantage

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Required Skills

• Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
