A little about the job....
- Interprets physicians' drug orders and supplies nursing units with proper medications for administration to patients and personnel.
- Answers questions related to medication regimens to provide optimum patient care.
- Provide patient medication education when requested.
Qualifications for the job...
- Graduates from accredited school of Pharmacy and currently licensed and registered by State Board of Pharmacy.
- Prefer oncology experience Prefer a knowledge of sterile compounding (USP797)
- Prefer a knowledge of safe handling of hazardous drugs (USP800)
- Prefer a knowledge of the 340B Drug Pricing Program
- Prefer a history of supervising pharmacist responsibilities
