Resale Supplier Quality Engineer

As a Resale Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring supplier quality performance and supporting customer satisfaction through proactive quality management and rapid issue resolution. Key Responsibilities Lead the resolution of customer complaints related to resale products by driving root cause investigations and ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions with suppliers. Partner closely with Customer Service, Operations, Production, and suppliers to contain quality issues and restore customer delivery expectations. Monitor and improve supplier performance through quality oversight, audits, corrective action follow‑up, and performance reviews. Verify that incoming resale materials meet customer specifications and quality requirements. Conduct supplier visits and support supplier audits to assess performance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement. Escalate critical quality concerns impacting customers and coordinate rapid response activities to protect customer satisfaction and business continuity. Maintain supplier quality documentation, records, corrective action reports, and performance metrics. Support incoming inspection and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities as needed. Required Qualifications 1+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service support, or a related field. Ability to respond quickly and effectively to customer quality concerns and coordinate supplier corrective actions. Experience supporting supplier audits and conducting supplier site visits. Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action methodologies, including 8D or similar problem‑solving tools. Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and manage competing priorities. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related discipline. Experience with incoming inspection and First Article Inspection (FAI). Exposure to supplier quality management, inspection, manufacturing quality systems, or customer‑facing quality support roles. Technical training, military experience, or vocational certifications in manufacturing, quality, or related fields may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments such as aerospace, defense, electronics, or industrial manufacturing is a plus. The base salary range for this role is $75,000 – $85,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
