Downtown, GA Key Responsibilities of the Accountant Prepare journal entries, accruals, allocations, payroll-related entries, and other general ledger transactions. Perform bank and account reconciliations while supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities. Assist with financial reporting, audit preparation, tax support, and related accounting schedules. Maintain financial records and reconciliations for affiliated entities and investment activities. Calculate management fees, interest income, and other investment-related accounting adjustments. Partner with the team to identify efficiencies and support accounting system enhancements and automation efforts. Qualifications For The Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 5+ years of progressive experience in an Accountant or accounting-related role. Strong experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Nonprofit accounting experience is preferred but not required. Understanding of fund accounting, investment accounting, consolidations, or corporate accounting principles.
