Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

RN – PACU

Schedule: 4-10's, Day Shift, with shared on-call rotation

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Strong skills in Pre-operative, PACU, and Phase II nursing
• Nursing assessment skills including peri-operative education and care

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care across the Outpatient Services area including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, and Post Anesthesia Care Unit
• Recognize and address post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Float as needed to support hospital needs for conscious sedation during special procedures

Compliance / Notes:

• Participation in on-call rotation is required.
