Job Description
The Assistant Manager Retail supports store leadership by overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role plays a key part in driving sales performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate retail team members to ensure productivity and engagement
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve conflicts effectively
- Manage inventory, order stock, and monitor sales to meet targets
- Conduct staff training and development sessions
- Maintain attractive visual merchandising standards
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in daily cash handling
- Prepare and submit reports on store performance and operations
- Create staff schedules to optimize coverage and efficiency
- Oversee general store operations and maintain compliance with policies
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in retail management
