Your Role and Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, request necessary diagnostic tests, and create tailored care plans
• Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either in collaboration with physicians or independently (per credentialing)
• Education of patients and their families on effective prevention strategies, wellness, and disease control
• Prescribing treatments and medications within the defined scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic health concerns
• Working with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Accurately documenting clinical findings and treatment plans in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications and Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nevada
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or analogous credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure these within 90 days)
