Shift: 24-hour shift (07:00 AM 07:00 AM)

Hours/Week: 40-50 hours/week (including call)

Employment Type: Contract

License/Certs: TN License or IMLC, ACLS, BLS, DEA (TN) required

Experience: Extensive experience in General GI and ERCP procedures

What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultation and care
• Perform advanced procedures including ERCPs using Olympus equipment
• Support surgical teams with General GI cases
• Respond to 24-hour call coverage, including night beeper calls and weekend consults
• Collaborate with supporting staff, including Endo nurses and support teams
• Document all procedures efficiently in EPIC EMR system
• Ensure patient safety and quality care during all procedures

What You Need

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology (required)
• TN Medical License or IMLC (prior to start)
• ACLS & BLS certifications
• Proven experience with ERCP Procedures and General GI treatments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts and handle on-call responsibilities

About the Assignment This inpatient-only assignment at a leading facility in Bristol, Tennessee, involves providing specialized gastroenterology services in a dynamic environment with a patient census of approximately 5-6 procedures daily. The department supports both the Endo Suite at BRMC and Main OR at HVMC, serving adult patients with some younger than 18. The position requires proficiency with Olympus equipment and extensive experience in ERCP and General GI procedures.
